A meeting of the Rusk County ESD #1 Communications Committee will be held at 5:30 PM on June 22, 2026 in the Emergency Operations Center at the Rusk County ESD #1 facility located at 1515 Whippoorwill Avenue in Henderson.  

Topics to be discussed include, but are not limited to:

• Upgrades to handheld radio units
• Dispatching guidelines
• Computer Aided Dispatching (CAD) integration fixes
• Potential changes to primary dispatch consoles
• Refresh for new staff members on fire dispatching requirements
